Skyworth built strategic cooperates with CCTV, BesTV and Huashu Media focusing on IP TVs

Till the end of April, Skyworth Group has made the agreements with CCTV, BesTV and Zhejiang Huashu Media on how to promote Chinese IP TVs industry to the right way.

According to the introduction, Skyworth created the first Internet-based 3G-USB TV and Coocaa TV back to 2006. Meanwhile Skyworth built the first professional website which provides sufficient sources for end users, like movies, entertainment and studying functions. After that, China’s IP TV industry develops fast. Internet function has gradually become the standard configuration of TV products. All the famous TV manufacturers all try to look for Internet content solutions.

In order to standardize IP TVs and lead it develop to a healthy way, SARFT issued some rules to supervise the Internet content of TVs by using permit system. Till now, only CCTV, BesTV and Huashu Media got the license. The strategic cooperation built between Skyworth and the above mentioned three companies suggests Skyworth got the formal channel and identity to engage in Internet content operation. What’s more, it means Skyworth could reinforce its leading role in IP TV industry and provide more content to its end users by making use of the strong technology and various Internet content owned by the three companies. Thus, to promote the development of China’s IP TV industry.
